Elevation Dance Studio provides superior dance instruction and builds well-rounded dancers through our fresh and engaging curriculum. We embrace both teamwork and individual growth. Visit their website for a variety of camps and classes for ages 3 - 18 years old.

Our summer camps are held primarily outside. Each morning we meet in the studio for a warm-up, then walk outside to one of our nearby parks to work on our projects in an outdoor studio setting. This summer our camps will be held in the Art Room at Soda Creek Elementary, and we will walk to Stehley Park and Howelsen Hill as our primary outdoor studio locations. Camps will culminate at the end of the week on Friday with a gallery show at Make Studio on Lincoln Ave. We provide all materials and tools for FUN mixed media projects ranging from painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, wood, clay, photography, land art, and more! Our camps are designed for ages 6-10. Students will be divided in small groups for age-appropriate activities, and together for collaborative projects, snacks, lunch, and 'Art Lab'. The age range makes for a fun group dynamic with different ages working together to inspire, lead/follow, and nurture one another. Space is limited!

Discover where nature fuels creativity at Perry-Mansfield. As an Emerging Artist, you’ll train daily in dance, theatre, music, writing, visual art, and even horseback riding—surrounded by the stunning Rocky Mountains.
Over two weeks, you’ll rehearse and perform a fully staged musical, gaining confidence, honing your craft, and creating unforgettable memories.

Ages 10 to 16 (entering 5th – 10th grades)

Applications are accepted until the program is filled. This program does not require an on-line or in-person audition.

At Perry-Mansfield, we believe that becoming a professional artist requires more than just technique; it requires a sanctuary where the spirit can expand. Our Pre-Professional Intensives are designed for the dedicated student (Ages 15–18) who is ready to bridge the gap between student and professional artist in a landscape that honors both discipline and heart. Dance Intensives: A deep dive into foundational mastery and expressive range.

Students immerse themselves in rigorous daily training in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. To cultivate the "Whole Artist," dancers may also explore electives in: Theatre & Creative Writing and Visual Arts & Equestrian Studies. Evening rehearsals transition from the studio to the stage, cultivating the versatility and stamina required to thrive in the modern dance world.

A comprehensive curriculum focusing on the triple-threat skillset: Acting, Voice, and a full range of Dance styles. We believe in the well-rounded artist, offering cross-disciplinary electives from the visual arts to the stable.

This immersive program invites high school students in grades 10 through 12 to explore the dynamic world of theatrical design through a blend of theory, concept development, and hands-on practice. Participants will gain foundational and advanced knowledge across key design disciplines, including:
• Lighting & Electrics: Learn the principles of lighting design and assist with electrics in live productions.
• Scenic Design: Explore set design from concept sketches to scale models and construction techniques.
• Sound Design: Understand audio storytelling, soundscapes, and technical setup for performances.
• Stage Management: Develop organizational and leadership skills essential to running a show smoothly.
• Costume and props: design and construction
Students will collaborate with professional designers and technicians, gaining real-world experience in production environments while refining their creative voice and technical fluency.

Participation in this program requires a brief interview and submission of supporting materials:
• Interview: Conducted via phone or Zoom to assess interest, experience, and readiness.
• Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from teachers, mentors, or professionals familiar with the student’s work ethic and creative potential.
• Portfolio Submission: Required for scholarship consideration. Portfolios may include sketches, photos of past work, cue sheets, prompt books, or other relevant materials showcasing design experience or interest.

Launch Your Art Adventure: Perry-Mansfield Summer Arts Day Camp! Get ready for a summer where creativity knows no bounds! Perry-Mansfield is thrilled to offer an immersive weekly day camp designed specifically for our young creators. We’ve broken our camp into two specialized tracks to make sure every artist gets the perfect experience:

Explorers: Ages 6 – 8 | Pioneers: Ages 9 – 10

This isn’t just a day camp—it’s a front-row seat to the magic of the arts! Our students dive headfirst into everything Perry-Mansfield has to offer. Throughout the week, campers will:

• Explore the Stage: Discover the fundamentals of both Dance and Theater, finding new ways to move and tell stories.

• Unique Campus Experiences: Engage in unmounted equestrian activities and get a “feet-on-the-ground” introduction to the gravity-defying world of Circus Arts.

• Behind the Scenes: Learn a touch of Production Magic! Students get a peek at what it takes to build a show by interacting with other programs and seeing professional-level productions in action.

• Creative Expression: Daily sessions in Visual Arts and Creative Writing allow every camper to find their unique voice.

Every week culminates in a short performance on the final day, where students can share their new skills with family and friends. Plus, lunch is included every day!

Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory is an intimate summer music program for string players including violin, viola, cello and piano featuring musical excellence, physical conditioning, leadership training and a balanced approach to living. We do all this through the passionate, persistent pursuit of perfection, which reveals the extraordinary within us.

Our teachers are dedicated to sharing the music we love through chamber music performance and coaching. Our students have come from all over the United States and from China, Japan, Germany, Israel and Mexico. They make friends to last a lifetime and their summer experience will remain with them long after the notes of our last concerts have melted away. We are changing the way music is taught to change the lives of the students we teach.

Residency
Violins aged 12-14 (Suzuki Book 4-6+). Our youngest student may be starting Grade 7 grade in Fall.

At our Dance & Create camps, our excellent dance instructors will expose your student to Ballet, Modern and Jazz dance styles. Each week has its own theme incorporated into choreography and costume. Camp activities include dance class, dance games, stretching, arts and crafts, outdoor play, face painting and more! Parents will enjoy a dance recital on the final day.

At Rock U., your student will be coached by our expert instructors to play various genres of Rock music on an instrument they already know how to play, but now they can play it in an ensemble! They will learn how to operate a sound system and will prepare a concert for parents on the final day. For ages 10-17.

This is a great chance for you to put your instrument skills to the test by playing in a band with others. Rock U creates a supportive environment where campers can learn new skills, jam with others, and even perform on stage at the end of the week! This is the perfect place to rock out and create lasting memories while sharing the passion of music.

Steamboat Creates Young Art Creativity Camps give kids the opportunity to explore drawing, painting, acting, movement, writing, 3D design, and more. Sessions between $175-$350 depending on half vs full day.

Spend a joyful, high-energy week making music with your Steamboat Symphony Orchestra! SSO Summer Immersion offers focused, inspiring camps for young string players and developing woodwind and brass musicians. Students build strong technique, play in ensembles, work with experienced teaching artists, and grow in confidence, all in a fun, supportive, community-centered environment. Whether your child is just beginning their musical journey or continuing to advance, Summer Immersion provides meaningful instruction, collaboration, and connection through music.

Young Strings Summer Camp
Designed especially for our youngest string players, this camp builds strong foundational technique through small ensembles, musical storytelling, composer adventures, and interactive music games that bring learning to life. Students develop confidence, creativity, and connection while having fun in a nurturing setting.

Evening Masterclasses for Intermediate & Advanced String Players
In addition to the morning camps, intermediate and advanced string students may register for optional evening masterclasses. These sessions provide deeper musical exploration, individualized instruction, and focused artistic growth in an intimate setting.

Woodwind & Brass Summer Camp
A dynamic and inspiring week for developing wind players. Students work closely with instrument specialists, perform in ensembles, explore improvisation, receive focused individual instruction, and strengthen musicianship in a collaborative setting. This camp is designed to elevate skills while fostering friendship and teamwork.
