The Haven OctoberFest 2026

Join us for this fun-filled community event to support The Haven Assisted Living! The 6th annual OctoberFest will be a family-friendly event to bring community members and neighbors together to celebrate all things fall, while supporting older adults in Hayden. Purchase tickets at the link, children under 5 are free.

The event will feature:

  • Silent auction with great local items, including Broncos tickets!
  • Live music with Apple Pie and A Guy
  • Flavorful Food, and Drinks from Storm Peak Brewing Company
  • Kid’s activities and outdoor games
  • Pumpkin decorating

Sketch a Bird

A free 1.5-hour sketch-a-bird workshop taught by local artist Joanne Orce with Nature’s Educators’ live birds. The feathered models for the morning will be chosen from Nature’s Educators’ live birds. The session also includes Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Sandhill Crane taxidermy. Sketching supplies provided by the Library and Steamboat Art Museum. All ages are welcome to take part in this free workshop.

Live Birds of Prey on the Library Lawn

Nature’s Educators host an interactive booth to visit with live birds of prey for the 15th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival. Visit with live birds of prey on the Library Lawn. Learn about the birds and the physical and behavioral adaptations they have that help them survive in their environment. Meet some real raptors and scavengers, and learn their personal stories and amazing features. All ages are welcome for this FREE event.

Crane Fest Outdoor Activities for Children & Families

Nature fun and education for the entire family during the 15th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival. Visit the Nature’s Educators raptor display, and explore the Library Lawn for free educational bird and nature activities presented by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Yampatika.

Crane Fest Kids’ Night

An evening of film, games, and coloring contest awards to open the 15th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival!
Join us for a special kids’ night featuring:

5 pm – Children’s activities & games open
5:30 pm – short crane-focused children’s film, followed by the Crane Coloring Contest Award Ceremony
6:15 pm – Children’s activities & games!

Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast 2026

Kick off your 4th of July with one of the most delicious and festive kids and family activities in Steamboat Springs! Join the Ski Town Lions Club and Boy Scouts for the annual Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast at Little Toots Park. Enjoy fresh pancakes and community fun before the parade — all while supporting a great cause.

Fourth of Steamboat Springs 4th of July Parade 2026

Celebrate the 4th of July in Steamboat Springs with this amazing hometown parade! This year’s theme is “Celebrating our Pioneers, Patriots & Peaks” and will include 40+ floats registered by local businesses and organizations.

Live Music at Pearl Lake

Join us at our kiosk at Pearl Lake for some Live Music on July 5th. This is our 4th year of offering this FREE event and it’s AMAZING every time!
Bring your own board or kayak or rent from us and get out on the water and listen to some Live Music.
Or, just set up a chair, maybe sit in one of ours to listen and grab a drink from our Tiki Bar, The Sneak Line.
