Come journey to the underworld and back in this powerful, award-winning musical inspired by the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice! We are excited to announce auditions for Hadestown: Teen Edition. We invite young performers to be part of this extraordinary production filled with unforgettable music, storytelling, and movement.
ALL WHO AUDITION WILL BE CAST! (Ages 13-19)
Signup link to audition is listed. Please prepare a one-minute song excerpt in the style of Hadestown. We encourage selections that showcase your storytelling ability, vocal range, and individuality. Please also bring a prepared monologue that demonstrates your acting ability and connection to character. Movement call (required for all audition participants) and lead callbacks will be on Nov. 14, 2026.

Drop in on Warren Miller’s 77th film, Days Off. Join host Katie Burrell as she pulls back the curtain on what the pros do on their days off. Go skijoring in Banff, join Craig McMorris and friends in Whistler, and explore Alaska’s spines with Sam Kuch and Craig Murray. Watch Jess Kimura push snowboarding forward and inspire the next generation in Hokkaido, Japan. Head to Chamonix for an intense high-alpine pivot with Christina “Lusti” Lustenberger. Then, hit Deer Valley with Ted Ligety, Kaylin Richardson, Pep Fujas, Chuck Mumford, and their broods, plus much more.

The horses invite you to the Mountain Valley Horse Rescue (MVHR) 3rd Annual Trick or Trot on Sunday, October 25th from 1pm to 3pm for a Trot around the Ranch, Horse Corral Scavenger Hunt and Treats! Bring the whole family, dress in your favorite costume and you might find that some horses also dress up and love Halloween! Spots are limited, so please RSVP! This is a FREE community event.
A free costume giveaway for Halloween, with used costumes collected from the community, treats, and a fun atmosphere hosted by the National Honor Society. Come to the Steamboat Springs High School to pick up free used costumes collected from our community. There will be treats and a fun time provided by the National Honor Society!

Brain Surgery on the Rocks: CT Scanning, Dinosaur Brains, and Extinct Animal Senses
Learn about paleontology work that’s happening in Northwest Colorado and beyond, as Dr. King explains how we can reconstruct the brains of long dead animals, especially dinosaurs, to see how they sensed the world around them.
Dr. Logan King is a professor and curator of paleontology at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Craig. Originally from a rural town in Alabama, he has traveled around the world in the pursuit of paleontological research. His work typically revolves around the evolution of the brain of archosaurs – the group of animals that includes dinosaurs, crocodilians, and birds – but he also will pursue any research that helps to clarify past environments and animal behavior. He has made digital models of brains, visited museum collections, and done fieldwork in the United States, China, Canada, and United Kingdom. At CNCC he teaches anatomy classes alongside general biology, geology, paleontology, and astronomy. He previously taught labs at the University of Bristol and taught vertebrate osteology to graduate students through the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in Beijing.

Since its 1975 release, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has inspired generations of fans with its campy charm, rock ‘n’ roll attitude, and celebration of self-expression. Midnight showings with shadow casts began almost immediately and continue to this day, creating a global community of misfits, theater lovers, and proud weirdos. Whether you’re a seasoned Time Warper or a first-time virgin, you’re stepping into a legacy that’s been dancing in fishnets and shouting “Dammit, Janet!” for nearly 50 years.
Rocky Horror is an audience participation film. This means you will get out of your seats, dance around, yell obscenities, throw things in the theater, and much more! Be sure to buy a prop bag at our merch table before the show! Prop bags are full of goodies that can be used and thrown around during the show.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is rated R by the Motion Picture Association Of America. Both the film and live floorshow contain very strong profanity and mature subject matter.
