SSWSC Scholarship Day at the Howler Alpine Slide

Looking for family-friendly things to do in Steamboat Springs? The Howler Alpine Slide is one of the top summer activities for kids and adults alike! With thrilling rides, gorgeous views, and a great cause, it’s the perfect way to spend the day with kids in Steamboat. The Howler is open every day, except Tuesdays.

Ride the Howler Alpine Slide on Thursday, July 3, and 100% of proceeds will support the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Scholarship Fund, which helps local youth athletes participate in SSWSC programs. The slide runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with scenic chairlift rides also available. Come out for a fun day on Emerald Mountain while supporting nearly 1,300 young athletes in our community! Rain date is Saturday July 5th.
