The City of Steamboat Springs offers several options for kids and families through the summer. The activities of each camp are designed to challenge the level of each age group. On trip days, staff target skills for the safe enjoyment of outdoor adventures in the Rocky Mountains.

The Explorers camp is open to kids entering Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by Oct 1, 2026 AND enrolled in kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year) up to age 7.5

Totally Kids Summer Camp offers a safe, stimulating environment that encourages a positive self-image. We offer a variety of summer activities over the weeks, including activities such as; swimming, bowling, hiking, climbing, going to the movie theatre, water days, park days, etc. Children need to bring meals and snacks, along with a water bottle. The summer day camp is open to children in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. We are open weekdays during the summer from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm.

Join NRCCS Early Childhood Program for a summer extension of our school year programming. We are is a licensed childcare center that offers a separate summer program. This programming emphasizes outdoor experiences and exploring the resources near or school in Clark, while also providing structure and routines for children.
