On October 31, 2023 the City of Steamboat closes Lincoln Avenue from 5 -7:30 pm for the biggest Halloween Celebration in the Rocky Mountains. Start planning your costume now, because our locals go all out! Fire dancers, Drum circles and a killer costume contest for the kids are all local favorites on Halloween. And if you’re lucky, you might see a couple of fairies on horseback or one of our local “Over the Hill Gangs” might tell you to “get off their lawn”, but not before giving you a shinny penny. There is lots of candy and treats for the kids, but the real treat is people watching.
