Ring in the New Year with sparkle and smiles! The Steamboat Skating Club presents our very first Winter Wonderland on Ice: a magical New Year’s Eve show at Howelsen Ice Arena.
Join us for an enchanting 45-minute mini-production, gliding through your holiday favorites with nearly 30 talented skaters, ages 6 to 18. After the show, lace up for an hour of public skating alongside our cast and dive into a family-friendly craft that promises creative fun for all.

Delicious food and sweet treats will be available for purchase. All proceeds support the Steamboat Skating Club’s scholarship program—helping local kids shine on the ice!
Join Chabad Steamboat for our Hebrew School of the Arts Kids’ Hands-On Menorah Workshop at Ace Hardware! In honor of the first night of Chanukah, children will learn the story of the holiday and then build their very own menorah, followed by a cheerful menorah lighting and delicious Chanukah refreshments. It’s the perfect event for young families and grandparents are warmly encouraged to bring the grandchildren for this special holiday experience! RSVP Required.
Join Chabad Steamboat for our Second Annual Chanukah Street Festival on the Courthouse Lawn in downtown Steamboat! Experience the magic as a menorah is carved live from ice and then lit, enjoy music by DJ Bobcat, face painting by April Cox, a thrilling fire-truck gelt drop with the Steamboat Springs Fire Department, plus delicious latkes, donuts, hot cocoa, apple cider, Chanukah crafts, swag, and more. It’s a joyful celebration of love, light, freedom, and community—fun for all ages!

The Holiday Market is open from 11am – 4pm.
The Holiday Stroll from 1pm – 3pm includes a museum open house, wagon rides, chestnut roasting, visits with Santa, cookie decorating and more!
Bumper Cars at the Howelsen Ice Arena are a fun and interactive activity for the entire family! Spin, glide, bump and slide across the ice during one of our 20-minute bumper car sessions. Reservations are recommended and spaces fill up fast, book your bumper car experience today!
Come play Turkey Bingo! Fun for the whole family! $20/session, kids under 10 are free. Win dessert and turkeys. All proceeds benefit the VFW Post 4264 & American Legion Post 44.

Join Har Mishpacha and Heart of Steamboat for a community Menorah lighting and dinner! All are welcome to help us light our giant candles!
We’ll light the menorah for Hanukkah, sing festive songs and celebrate the festival of lights. Then we will share a meal with Heart of Steamboat’s Open Table with latkes for all!
Kick off the Hanukkah celebrations with Colorado Bagel Company and Har Mishpacha for their second annual Hanukkah Party!
This will be a Hanukkah party you won’t want to miss with delicious food made fresh by Colorado Bagel. Pick your favorite topping at the Latke Bar, enjoy fresh sufganiyot (jelly donuts), decorate dreidel cookies with your children or try your luck spinning a real one, and more!
