This year\, our 46th annual\, we are carefully watching the water levels to host a safe and fun event that celebrates the Yampa! \nIt is with great thanks to all the passionate and dedicated river enthusiasts\, partners\, and supporters that this event continues to be the gem that it is today. While following all the latest safety guidelines\, we hope that our river friends will join us to celebrate this year’s Yampa River Festival between May 28-31\, 2026. The main event is on Saturday\, May 30.

DESCRIPTION:This race benefits Foundry Steamboat Springs\, which provides an opportunity for lasting recovery through an integrative body\, mind\, and spirit treatment program. Comfortably located in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Steamboat Springs\, The Foundry provides a safe and natural setting that encourages instinctive growth for the individual as they forge a new life in their own vision. \nThe course takes place on a mix of trail and road that is guaranteed fun for the whole family. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged! Leashed dogs are welcome to join too. There will be Halloween treats after the race as well as fun for the whole family. \nDistances: 5k \nDate: Saturday\, October 31st\, 2026 \nLocation: The race starts and ends in the parking lot of Soda Creek Elementary School (220 Park Ave\, Steamboat Springs\, CO 80487). \nStart Time: 9:00 am \nPets: Leashed pets are encouraged!
