SUMMARY:5-Week Kids After School Pottery Wheel Class (Late Spring Session)
DESCRIPTION:Kids love to play in the mud! In this class\, they will learn how to wedge and center their clay on the wheel and then proceed to the fun and messy throwing process of creating cylinders\, cups\, bowls and possibly plates\, depending on progress during class.  Students will also learn to trim their pots on the wheel when the clay has stiffened to “leather hard” stage. They will then decorate and glaze their work over the course of several weeks. SUMMARY:Help a Horse Day at MVHR - Volunteer Spring Fling
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday April 25th for a special Volunteer Spring Fling! Come help the horses with a variety of chores and projects. We start at 9:30am with pancake breakfast\, followed by assignment of a task. Bring the whole family\, and bring a lunch if you like to stay all day. The Afternoon will include Educational Horse Stations & Activities.We celebrate with cake at 1:30pm. This is our big Spring Fling to get ready for Summer! No need to RSVP\, just show up! We hope to see you all there!

DESCRIPTION:Old Town Hot Springs offers Babysitter Training classes year-round for kids ages 10+. The American Red Cross Babysitter Training course provides youth planning to babysit the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business\, keep themselves and others safe\, help children behave\, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. In addition\, we are providing the participants to take their training one step further by learning to perform pediatric CPR and advanced first aid.
