Yampa Valley Bank is once again our generous primary sponsoring underwriting this event. \nThis family-focused\, pre-holiday tradition transforms the museum into a sparkling forest of 26-holiday trees uniquely decorated by creative local organizations\, businesses\, and individuals. The Festival is the museum’s primary fundraising event\, and proceeds support museum preservation and educational activities. \nWe thank the decorators and local business sponsors who make this event possible. Story baskets are a tool that can help children develop early literacy skills\, practice storytelling\, and engage in imaginative play. We use items based upon the characters and/or settings in our books to support a child’s retelling\, re-imagining\, or re-engaging with a story.
