DESCRIPTION:Play games\, read a book\, have a snack\, create or join a club at the Bud Werner Memorial Library. The possibilities are endless! \nTeens ages 13-18 are welcome to Sunday Hangout every Sunday from 10am-5pm. Games and puzzles will be available or have your group meet for activities you already enjoy. Parents and siblings are welcome to enjoy other areas of the library\, as this space is teens only. \nWe offer free programs during Sunday Hangout several times a month for teens. They vary from crafts\, technology\, and games to just plain odd. So come hangout when it works for you\, and join in our fun programs while you’re here!

No registration required. \n2026 Yampatika Events \n\nJanuary 11th – Let’s learn about the science of snow!\nFebruary 15th – We’ll hunt for tracks in the snow and learn to recognize the animals who left them!\nMarch 15th – Learn how to be a busy beaver and all about these extraordinary creatures!\nApril 12th – Explore the water cycle\, rain\, and weather to then make a rain cloud in a jar!\nMay 10th – Join us to study birds and put what you learned to the test when you build a nest!\nJune 14th – We’re exploring real life bugs and insects this week!\nJuly 12th – Geology rocks! And so does this week’s sweet activity!\nAugust 16th – We are looking at pond life and aquatic ecosystems!\nSeptember 13th – Did you say dinosaur bones? We will look at real specimens and make our own fossils!\nOctober 11th – Let’s go “batty” and learn about nocturnal Animals!\nNovember 15th – We will learn about bears as they head off to hibernate for the winter!\nDecember 13th – ‘Tis the season to lear about hibernation\, adaptation\, and migration!
