SUMMARY:Adaptive Rock Climbing
DESCRIPTION:Support your child’s confidence and coordination through adaptive rock climbing alongside same-aged peers. These small-group classes are designed for children and adults with disabilities. All climbing levels are welcome\, and instruction will be tailored to each participant’s needs. Participants will build strength\, balance\, coordination\, confidence\, and problem-solving skills through fun climbing games and challenges. Classes are led by pediatric physical therapist Dr. Erika Barger\, PT\, DPT\, PCS. \nPlease have your rock climber wear comfortable\, movement-friendly clothing and bring a water bottle. Harness and shoes will be provided. Siblings and friends are welcome to join for an additional $20! DESCRIPTION:This class is for anyone who is currently pregnant\, wanting to get pregnant\, or who is postpartum–whether you are 6 weeks postpartum or 5+ years postpartum. We are always able to strengthen our bodies. \nOur Pregnancy + Postpartum Class is a 45 minute High Intensity Pilates Class\, focused on all the same areas as our traditional Tonic Classes\, with increased emphasis on Pregnancy and Postpartum. We will spend some time at the beginning on breathwork/core breathing exercises and end with some mobility focused work. Our goal with this class is that you learn ways to modify your regular Tonic Classes to keep yourself strong during pregnancy and re-build successfully postpartum.
