SUMMARY:Kids Yoga at Old Town Hot Springs
DESCRIPTION:A fun and mindful after-school activity designed to help kids ages 4-8 move\, stretch\, and unwind! \nWHEN:\nThursday from 4:30 – 5:30 pm\, starting January 8 – March 26 \nWHAT:\nThis 12-week kids yoga program introduces young yogis to balance\, breathwork\, and playful movement in a supportive environment. It’s the perfect after-school option for kids to practice yoga while parents take BODYPUMP\, work out\, or relax in the hot springs. These classes are fun\, mindful\, connective\, and the benefits are many\, including increased focus\, emotional and body awareness\, access to stillness\, social regulation\, and physical foundations of strength and flexibility. \nINVESTMENT:\n$100 for the 12 sessions (members or non-members) or $10 drop-in (participants must register at the front desk). Members may register online using the members portal\, and guests may register here. Members and guests can also register by stopping by or calling the OTHS front desk at 970-879-1828. \nINSTRUCTOR BIO:\nHalli is an elementary educator of 10 years with 20 years of experience in childcare. She’s been practicing yoga since she was a teenager and teaching kids’ yoga since her early 20s. At 32\, Halli is eager to share her love of yoga with all\, especially young people because they are the roots of our future.
