DESCRIPTION:Stories come to life with hands-on\, play based fun!\nWe will re-imagine a beloved children’s book with a Story Basket! Story baskets are a tool that can help children develop early literacy skills\, practice storytelling\, and engage in imaginative play. We use items based upon the characters and/or settings in our books to support a child’s retelling\, re-imagining\, or re-engaging with a story. Many of these story basket activities will have the option of a to-go bag so you can continue the fun at home! These baskets will be geared towards toddlers & preschoolers\, ages 2-5. This program is free\, space is limited and will run on a first come\, first serve basis.\nEvery Wednesday at 10:30am in the Children’s Storytime Room.

After the show\, lace up for an hour of public skating alongside our cast and dive into a family-friendly craft that promises creative fun for all.\nYour ticket includes:\nAdmission to the Winter Wonderland show\nOne-hour public skate with performers\nHands-on craft activity for everyone\nDelicious food and sweet treats will be available for purchase. All proceeds support the Steamboat Skating Club’s scholarship program—helping local kids shine on the ice!
