The Howler Opening Weekend: Steamboat Springs Alpine Slide

Enjoy scenic views of downtown Steamboat Springs as you ride a chairlift to the top of historic Howelsen Hill. You are in control of your ride as you wind down a 2,400-foot track through the bends and curves of the natural landscape.
Opening weekend May 23 – 25, 2026.
Open 7 days a week starting May 30, 2026

Proceeds from The Howler Alpine Slide benefit the young athletes of Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
