Sunset Happy Hour at Steamboat Mountain

Ride the gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge for one of Steamboat’s most beloved summer traditions! Sunset Happy Hour pairs live music, food and drinks, and unbeatable views over the Yampa Valley as the sun dips behind the mountains. Held most Thursdays and Sundays through the summer and fall, it’s a relaxed, family-friendly evening with something for everyone — kids included. Grab a bite, find a spot on the deck, and toast to another beautiful Steamboat sunset.

- Where: Thunderhead Lodge, atop the Steamboat Gondola
- Pricing: Free ride up the Thunderhead Gondola for Ikon Pass holders (and other qualifying season passes); $30 for non-pass holders; kids 4 & under are free
- Family-friendly — fun for all ages
- Tickets: Sold onsite at the base of the gondola, credit card only (no pre-purchase)
- Timing: Event runs 5:00 – 9:30 PM; each evening’s headliner takes the stage 6:30 – 9:15 PM
- Food and a full bar available for purchase; free parking at the Upper Knoll lot
