Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series 2026
There’s no better way to spend a summer evening in Steamboat Springs than under the lights at the Steamboat Pro Rodeo. Running every Friday and Saturday all summer long, this Western tradition is packed with food, live music, and the kind of rowdy, cheering-from-the-stands energy that kids love — plus the chance to watch real cowboys and cowgirls compete for serious prize money.
Little ones under six get in free, and kids can jump right into the action with two crowd-favorite arena events (no registration needed — just listen for the announcer). Winners take home a prize.
- Ram Scramble (ages 5 & under): The littlest wranglers chase a gentle sheep around the arena to grab a ribbon.
- Calf Scramble (ages 6–12): Older kids race to be the first to snag the ribbon tied to a calf’s tail — fast, funny, and one of the most memorable moments of the night.
Come early, grab dinner, and settle in for an unforgettable Steamboat summer night.
2026 Schedule — All performances begin at 7:30 PM.
- Front gate opens at 5:30 PM
- Live music starts at 5:45 PM
- BBQ starts at 6:00 PM
