Newborn Network Hayden Play and Learn October 2026

Tuesday, October 27 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Twice a week all month, kids enjoy sensory pumpkin play, bubbles, a scarecrow-building activity, and a costume parade, while parents learn early literacy and self-regulation tips. Perfect for children ages 0–36 months with a caregiver.

9:30–11:30am at the Hayden Center, 495 W Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO.

  • Thu, Oct 1 – Building, Stacking, and Interacting: Let’s talk about peer play and social relationships.
  • Tue, Oct 6 – Wet and Not So Wild: Tips and tricks to practice self-regulation. Bring extra clothes.
  • Thu, Oct 8 – It’s in the Bag: Simple games to help with recognizing and identifying objects.
  • Tue, Oct 13 – Building a Scarecrow: Early literacy skills with pre-reading/storytelling.
  • Thu, Oct 15 – Expressing Feelings: Playing with Bubbles: Name, understand, and share emotions.
  • Tue, Oct 20 – Ghosts or Pumpkins: Let’s make a spooky keepsake.
  • Thu, Oct 22 – Pumpkins and Pineapples: Notice, compare, and describe textures.
  • Tue, Oct 27 – Pumpkin Guts: Squish, scoop, discover sensory treasures!
  • Thu, Oct 29 – Wear a Costume!: We are going to parade in the Hayden Center (10:30 AM).
