Bumper Cars & Public Skate

Spin, glide, bump and slide across the ice! Bumper Cars at Howelsen Ice Arena are a fun, interactive activity for the whole family. Sessions run 20 minutes (closer to 15 minutes of ride time once everyone is loaded and unloaded). Reservations open one month in advance and spots fill up fast, so book early.

Children must be at least 3 years old to ride, and kids 3–4 ride with an adult at no extra cost. To drive their own car, riders need to be at least 42″ tall and able to comfortably reach and operate the controls. Two people may share a car only if one is 18 or older and the other is 6 or younger — two kids or two adults can’t ride together.

The arena is chilly, so bring a warm coat, hat and gloves, and wear closed-toe shoes with good traction.

What it costs

• Bumper Cars: $18.45 + tax per car (not per rider)
